Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lucas). They claimed a resounding 67-25 win over the Crestline Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Cubs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lucas' win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Riley Trumpower, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Trumpower has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Emma Brown was another key player, going 5 for 11 on her way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

Lucas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Lucas pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Crestline, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Lucas will host Crestline at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crestline, they will take on Plymouth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestline is facing Plymouth at the right time seeing as Plymouth is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
