Badger is 0-9 against St. John since October of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Braves will face off against the Fighting Herald at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Badger took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Harding. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since September 4, 2024.
Badger took Harding into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-17, 8-25, 21-25, 25-9, 15-12.

Badger's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katelyn Tunison, who had 14 kills, seven blocks, six digs, and five aces. Those six digs gave Tunison a new career-high. Alison Price was another key player, getting 13 digs, eight kills, and six aces.
They weren't the only good server: Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 18 aces in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, St. John got the win against Bloomfield on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-20, 25-8.
St. John's record now sits at 7-2. As for Badger, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Badger might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from St. John in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
