Ursuline Academy is 2-8 against Notre Dame Academy since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ursuline Academy Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Notre Dame Academy Cougars at 5:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, the Bears came up short against the Bears and fell 50-42.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Revere as Notre Dame Academy made off with a 60-36 victory. Given Notre Dame Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Revere is ranked 32nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The Bears' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Notre Dame Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Ursuline Academy came up short against Notre Dame Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 50-44. Can Ursuline Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
