The Peetz Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They came out on top against Prairie by a score of 42-29. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Peetz has scored all year.
Leading Peetz to victory were Chance Seglke and Noah Naegele. Seglke scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Naegele scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Seglke hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Rhyder Bayne was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Peetz pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Prairie, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.
Peetz won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Leyton on January 27th. As for Prairie, they will head out on the road to face off against North Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
