Daniel Melvin posted a new career-high in runs on Monday. He scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Boulder: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-9 otherwise.
