Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagle Valley). They really took it to the Rifle Bears for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-24 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eagle Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Mandeville, who went 7 of 14 en route to 15 points and four steals. That's the most points Mandeville has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Zakia Shreeve, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points and seven boards.

Eagle Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Eagle Valley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Rifle, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Eagle Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 44-42 loss against Grand Junction Central on the 14th. As for Rifle, they will welcome Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
