Forestview will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against South Point at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Forestview came within a touchdown against Clover last Thursday, but wound up with a 3-16 loss.
Meanwhile, everything went South Point's way against Lincolnton last week as they made off with a 27-0 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
South Point's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Forestview's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if South Point can add another positive mark to their record or if Forestview can shake off the loss and take the spring out of South Point's step.
