Franklin is 6-0 against Westwood since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Franklin Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Westwood Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Franklin is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Franklin posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Buffalo.
Meanwhile, even though Fairfield scored an imposing 70 points on Friday, Westwood still came out on top. Westwood took their matchup against Fairfield 81-70. Winning may never get old, but Westwood sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Kavian Bryant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 46 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Carter, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Franklin's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Franklin strolled past Westwood when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 58-44. Will Franklin repeat their success, or does Westwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
