The Lincoln Park Railsplitters will head out on the road to face off against the Carlson Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carlson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln Park, who comes in off a win.
Even though Redford Union scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, Lincoln Park still came out on top. Lincoln Park skirted past Redford Union 64-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln Park.
Meanwhile, Carlson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anderson. That's two games in a row now that Carlson has lost by exactly four points.
Despite the defeat, Carlson got a solid performance out of Brendan Stanley, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Joshua Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Lincoln Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carlson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Lincoln Park strolled past Carlson when the teams last played back in February by a score of 51-34. Will Lincoln Park repeat their success, or does Carlson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
