Pioneer recap October 29, 2013
Osawatomie fell to Louisburg 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Central Heights made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,488 from 11,386. The improvement was largely due to a 46-14 victory over West Franklin last week.
Thanks to the talents of Brody Russell and Riley England, the Trojans have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Russell is tops in the league in passing with 620 yards, while England has rushed for 1,675 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Anderson County's Ryan Alley, with 272 yards on 19 catches.
An important game coming up in Pioneer this week will be when Osawatomie takes on Prairie View. As it stands, Rodney Madden's team is in third, while the Buffaloes are in fifth.
The Vikings led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on the Falcons.
