After losing to Liberal/Bronaugh the last time they met, Diamond decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Diamond came out on top against Liberal/Bronaugh by a score of 20-6 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Diamond as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
The win bumped Diamond's record up to 2-5. Liberal/Bronaugh are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Diamond take on Pleasant Hope at 7:00 PM. Pleasant Hope took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Diamond's good fortune. As for Liberal/Bronaugh, they will face off against Appleton City/Montrose.
