Battle Alberson looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 280 yards and a touchdown while completing 74.2% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Rouillier, who picked up 151 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Tate still got an impressive performance from ANDRE COLSTON, who rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Gulf Breeze's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Breeze will take on Navarre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Navarre's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Tate, they will head out on the road to face off against Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
