The Davis Darts will challenge the Jordan Beetdiggers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Davis turned things around against Northridge on Monday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 17-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Darts considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Tanner Jensen looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, Lincoln Green was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Will Nixon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Davis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Ridgeline 5-3.
KADE CARTER made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Jordan is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. CARTER was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
In other pitching news, TALON PETERSEN looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on DALLON MOLDER, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
Jordan's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Davis, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Davis hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .346. However, it's not like Jordan struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Davis came up short against Jordan when the teams last played back in May of 2017, falling 8-5. Can the Darts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
