On Saturday, Olean had to suffer through a rough 73-35 loss at the hands of the Lancers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Olean has scored all season.
St. Mary's was led to victory by Griffin Smith and Israel Wilson. Smith scored 11 points along with two steals, while Wilson scored 18 points. Colin Corcoran was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Olean and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for St. Mary's, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olean will take on the Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. The Park School of Buffalo has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4.
