In what's become a running theme this season, the Pine Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They breezed by Tradition Prep at home to the tune of 56-28. The victory was nothing new for Pine as they're now sitting on three straight.
Emily Shirk was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Pine's points. Another player making a difference was Anna Birmingham, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six steals.
Pine's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Tradition Prep, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5.
Pine will look to defend their home court on Thursday against NSU University at 5:00 p.m. As for Tradition Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Somerset College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
