After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port Jervis, Goshen Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Kingston Tigers with a sharp 48-28 victory. The Gladiators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Jake Giordano went supernova, rushing for 127 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 114 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Liam OHara was another key player, rushing for 120 yards and one score while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

The win got Goshen Central back to even at 1-1. As for Kingston, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Goshen Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 48-36 victory against Our Lady of Lourdes on the 19th. As for Kingston, they have also already played their next contest, a 23-13 win against Beacon on the 19th.
