Fairfield Central's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Eau Claire Shamrocks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-1 last Tuesday.

Fairfield Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Eau Claire, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield Central will welcome River Bluff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Gators' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Griffins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eau Claire, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Chester at 6:00 p.m.
