Riverside came into Wednesday's   contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let the South Charleston Black Eagles get on the board and left with  a   1-0  win  on Wednesday. The Warriors were shut out  3-0 the last time they took on the Black Eagles, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.
Not much got past  Nick Bigler, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up ten Ks to keep South Charleston off the board.
 On the hitting side, Riverside's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Jayden Sparkman, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.  Noah Nuckles also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Riverside  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Charleston struck out ten times.
