Several Cavaliers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ceanna Jacobs, who scored 12 points. That was a full 41.4% of Mullins Marion Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Joy Gause, who scored eight points.
Mullins Marion Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Mullins Marion Christian will head out on the road to square off against Maranatha Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christ the Cornerstone Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
