The Rogers Rams will be playing at home against the Kentridge Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Rogers won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 79-56 walloping at the hands of Curtis. Rogers has struggled against Curtis recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kyree Grays, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyshawn Weatherspoon, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Kentridge was the victim of a rough 59-33 defeat at the hands of Kentwood on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kentridge has scored all season.
Rogers' defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Kentridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Rogers came up short against Kentridge when the teams last played back in December of 2019, falling 59-46. Will Rogers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
