 Palisades took Providence into a fifth set  where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 28-26, 19-25, 20-25,  15-10.
 Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Palisades, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
