Meanwhile, St. George's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They suffered a rough 70-49 defeat at the hands of First Assembly Christian. St. George's has struggled against the Crusaders recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, St. George's saw an underclassman step up: Tristan Farris scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Farris has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Jones, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Lausanne Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for St. George's, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
