They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 19-18 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thornton Fractional North Meteors. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Meteors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Micah Robinson and Jacob Johnson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Robinson rushed for 56 yards and one TD on only seven carries, while Johnson gained 101 total yards and two touchdowns.
