After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson, Freedom Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Bishop Ireton Cardinals with a sharp 16-3 victory. Considering the Patriots have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Graysen Stafford, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Eli Corney was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Freedom Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Ireton only posted an OBP of .350.

Freedom Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Bishop Ireton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20-1.

Looking ahead, Freedom Christian Academy will challenge Mercyhurst Prep at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Ireton, they will take on Bandys at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
