Meanwhile, Beaver Falls had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed a 56-52 victory over Riverside on Friday. The win was just what Beaver Falls needed coming off of a 71-35 defeat in their prior match.
New Brighton's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Beaver Falls, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
New Brighton lost to Beaver Falls at home by a decisive 70-51 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can New Brighton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
