Volleyball Recap: Lincoln College Prep Wins Going Away Against Raytown South

Lincoln College Prep had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raytown South Cardinals. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Blue Tigers this season.

While Lincoln College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-22.

Jasmine Floyd paced Lincoln College Prep's offense, picking up six kills. Floyd got some help from Atianna Crosdale and her 16 assists. Bailey Foster controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Lincoln College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Raytown South, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Lincoln College Prep and Raytown South will both be playing Van Horn the next time they take the court. The Blue Tigers will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
