The Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans lost against the Crockett Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Coldspring-Oakhurst took a 57-42 bruising from the Bulldogs. It was the first time this season that Coldspring-Oakhurst let down their fans at home.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crockett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tania Davis, who scored 29 points along with five assists and three steals. Davis is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Naomi Taylor was another key contributor, almost dropping a triple-double on ten points, 21 rebounds, and nine blocks.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coldspring-Oakhurst will take on the Fighting Owls at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Anderson-Shiro presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in Texas (the Fighting Owls are ranked 297th, while the Trojans are ranked 823rd). As for Crockett, they will be playing at home against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shepherd is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
