With a playoff win on the line, Myrtle rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 62-54 win over the Blue Mountain Cougars. The Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Myrtle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-17 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Blue Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-19.
