Nampa Christian is a perfect 6-0 against Vision since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will host Vision at 5:00 p.m. Nampa Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Nampa Christian got the win against Marsing by a conclusive 13-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Peyton Shook made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ashlynn Swank was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Addison Gray was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Vision finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against Melba, falling 15-1. The loss continues a trend for Vision in their meetings with Melba: they've now lost five in a row.
Nampa Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Vision, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Vision's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Nampa Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Vision, though, as they've been averaging 17.5 hits. Given Nampa Christian's sizable advantage in that area, Vision will need to find a way to close that gap.
Nampa Christian took their win against Vision in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 31-14 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vision turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
