The Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Silverdale Academy Seahawks at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 351st, while Silverdale Academy is ranked 23rd).
Last Wednesday, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts came up short against St. Andrews-Sewanee and fell 44-36.
Meanwhile, Silverdale Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They ended the year with a bang, routing Loudon 70-45. Considering Silverdale Academy has won seven contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Silverdale Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brett Wright, who scored 18 points, and Kennedy Okpara, who scored 20 points. The match was Wright's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyjah Richardson, who scored nine points.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Silverdale Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was dealt a bruising 72-37 loss at the hands of Silverdale Academy in their previous matchup back in November. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was down 36-15.
