West is 2-8 against the 76ers since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The West Cowboys will be playing at home against the Independence 76ers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, West had to suffer through a rough 73-32 loss at the hands of the Nubians.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Independence, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 82-63 to Eastmoor Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
West's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Independence, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-17.
Everything came up roses for West against the 76ers in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 57-20 win. Will West repeat their success, or do the 76ers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
