Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherando). Everything went their way against the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers on Friday as the Sherando Warriors made off with a 64-41 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted since December 9, 2023.

Several Buccaneers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brody Jeran, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Jevon Westfall was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win was the third in a row for Sherando, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Sherando wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-51 victory against Strasburg on the 28th. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-52 defeat against Skyline on the 28th.
