In what's become a running theme this season, the Fort Yukon Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Andrew K. Demoski on the road to the tune of 68-29. Winning may never get old, but Fort Yukon sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Fort Yukon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nellie Ward, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Twila Strom, who scored 16 points.
Fort Yukon pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Andrew K. Demoski, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
