The Wakefield Warriors will head out to take on the Chantilly Chargers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Wakefield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Wakefield proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Herndon by a goal, winning 2-1. Masis Davitian had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Wakefield.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Chantilly was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of West Potomac by a score of 1-0. The loss was Chantilly's first of the season.

Wakefield pushed their record up to 3-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Chantilly, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Wakefield took their win against Chantilly when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
