The Western Christian Fighting Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Victor Valley Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Christian will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Western Christian can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 67-20 victory over Trinity Classical Academy at home.
Jared Doolittle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 330 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Doolittle hasn't dropped below 300 passing yards for three straight games. Western Christian also got help from JJ Hooper who showed off his sure hands for 80 receiving yards.
Victor Valley can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Silverado with points to spare, taking the game 24-7.
Victor Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nikolas Blocker, who picked up 87 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Blocker was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 69 yards. Another player making a difference was Victor Villa, who rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 6-4.
