Cole Moody posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of Muhlenberg's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Moody and Muhlenberg will venture away from home to square off against Emmaus at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Hornets will enter the matchup having just beaten William Allen, so the Muhls will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
