Paideia is on a three-game streak of home losses, Whitefield Academy a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Paideia Pythons will take on the Whitefield Academy WolfPack at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Paideia is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Whitefield Academy in Georgia (Paideia is ranked 239th, while Whitefield Academy is ranked 513th).
Paideia scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mt. Bethel Christian Academy 61-33 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Paideia has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Whitefield Academy had to suffer through a rough 55-6 loss at the hands of North Cobb Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Whitefield Academy has scored all season.
The victory got Paideia back to even at 7-7. As for Whitefield Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Paideia against Whitefield Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 49-17 victory. Will Paideia repeat their success, or does Whitefield Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
