Despite the loss, Tome had strong showings from Spencer Cain, who scored 16 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds, and Ethan Griffith, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Avon Grove Charter beat the 41-36 on Thursday.
Xavier London continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played.
Tome's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Avon Grove Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Tome have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Avon Grove Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.3 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
