Logan Eggen and Gavin Baker certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Eggen scored 20 points along with eight rebounds, while Baker scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Dawson Pruss was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Boys Town's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nyree Poteet, who scored 24 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Darien Whitaker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Archbishop Bergan's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-6. As for Boys Town, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
