The East Rowan Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 111-37 defeat at the hands of Central Cabarrus. East Rowan has not had much luck with Central Cabarrus recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
It was another big night for Josh Dalton, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks for Central Cabarrus. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmond Kent Jr., who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
East Rowan's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-13. As for Central Cabarrus, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.
East Rowan will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Braylon Irelan and Drake Jones. As for Central Cabarrus, they will head out on the road to take on South Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
