Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Jose Plazola stepped things up a notch to give Jurupa Hills the 'W'. Plazola went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Plazola's strong effort led Jurupa Hills over San Gorgonio and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Jurupa Hills is 8-2 against San Gorgonio going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
