After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Arvin is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Boron Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Bobcats pushed the score to 36-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.
Andrew Gartica had a dynamite game for Boron, rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. Gartica's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Israel Flores was another key rusher, rushing for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Flores wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Boron was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 346 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 241 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Arvin against Boron when the teams last played back in September of 2022 as the team secured a 35-6 win. In that game, Arvin amassed a halftime lead of 21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
