Field Kindley Gets a Boost from Tunstall in 13-6 Defeat
Starting off the list is Field Kindley's Aaron Tunstall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tunstall rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Labette County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Tunstall. When Tunstall last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 262 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry.

While Conner Proffitt delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pittsburg. Proffitt was dynamite, picking up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 35 yards. His longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards.
This season, Proffitt has averaged 24.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 36 receiving yards.

Jackson Made His Presence Known in Labette County's 13-6 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jamaal Jackson stepped things up a notch to give Labette County the 'W'. Field Kindley had no answer to Jackson as he rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Field Kindley, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Jackson. Jackson rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Golden Tornado duked it out back in October of 2023.
