The Red Mesa Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Many Farms with a sharp 62-36 win on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Red Mesa also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Mesa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jonah Herbert, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Herbert's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Jerwin Begay was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Red Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Many Farms, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Red Mesa will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rock Point at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Many Farms won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Round Valley will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
