Benjamin has won four straight games at home, while Gulliver Prep has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Buccaneers will welcome the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Benjamin not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 13th (when they won 12-0). They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Palm Beach Central.

Thomas Harris tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Benjamin: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on CJ Soto, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Benjamin's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Owens, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep got themselves on the board against Miami Beach on Wednesday, but Miami Beach never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hi-Tides with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Jonah Weissmann, who gave up just four hits to keep Miami Beach off the board.
On the hitting side, Chase Cherne and Jacob Lombard did most of the damage at the plate: Cherne went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Lombard went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Omar Falcon, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.
Gulliver Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Benjamin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Benjamin came out on top in a nail-biter against Gulliver Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
