The Parsippany Redhawks lost against the Butler Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Parsippany fell to Butler 57-52. Parsippany has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Parsippany saw an underclassman step up: Thomas Niedermaier scored 19 points along with six steals. The matchup was Niedermaier's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Arthur Smith, who scored 16 points.
Parsippany's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Butler, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Parsippany won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Midland Park at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th. As for Butler, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hawthorne Christian at 7:00 p.m.
