The Marianna Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-26 victory over Crossroad Academy. That's two games straight that Marianna has won by exactly 14 points.
Keyana Myers was Marianna's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Harmoni Gibson held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
The victory got Marianna back to even at 3-3. As for Crossroad Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marianna's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Crossroad Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Suwannee at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
