Koa Regalado Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Colton's Koa Regalado, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Regalado rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101). He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 79 yards.
If the past is any indication, Regalado could be in store for another big game when he takes on Arroyo Valley on Friday. Regalado threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Performance from Ryder Carson Leads Carter over Notre Dame
On Friday, Carter got the W thanks in part to Ryder Carson playing the best football he has all season. Carson threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Carter now has a winning record of 3-2. Carson's next match is against Bloomington on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Colton was led to victory by Kalvin Leon, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Leon picked up 127 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards.
For the year, Leon has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 63.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 18.8 receiving yards per game.
