In other batting news, Jaylen James was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Meanwhile, Converse entered their tilt with Joaquin on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Converse's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bossier, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
