The Fuquay - Varina Bengals extended their postseason success on Friday against the Ashley Screaming Eagle. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Screaming Eagle and snuck past 10-7. Winning may never get old, but Fuquay - Varina sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ashley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaelan Brewington, who rushed for 160 yards, and Quinn Bentley who rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown. Brewington is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played.
Fuquay - Varina has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Ashley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
Fuquay - Varina is on the road again on Friday and play against Rolesville at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Rolesville will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
